DJing at Elstree Film Studios: Taylor Swift, Batmitzvah Classics & an Epic Party

On the 6th of March I had the pleasure of DJing a truly special batmitzvah at the iconic Elstree Film Studios, working alongside the brilliant team from Soul Studio Events. It’s always exciting to step into such a historic venue, and knowing that countless film and TV productions have been created there made the night feel extra magical before the first track even dropped.

Guests were welcomed with food and drinks in the stylish bar area before moving through to the main space, which boasts a fantastic sound system and integrated lighting. Elstree Film Studios is a smart, versatile venue that can cater in-house or work seamlessly with external caterers, making it a great choice for milestone celebrations like this one.

The star of the night, of course, was the batmitzvah girl herself, a huge Taylor Swift fan. Naturally, plenty of her tracks made it onto the playlist, and when Love Story dropped, the dance floor lit up. (I’ll admit, it’s one of my guilty pleasures too, and judging by the crowd’s reaction, I’m not the only one!)

From batmitzvah classics to party anthems, the energy stayed high all evening. The atmosphere was warm, joyful, and full of love, a reflection of the wonderful family and friends who came together to celebrate.
